  2.  SHORT description of KingCON

  5.    KingCON is a console-handler that optionally replaces the standard
  6. 'CON:' and 'RAW:' devices. It is 100% compatible, but adds some VERY
  7. useful features, such as..
  8.    * Filename-completion (TAB-expansion)
  9.    * A review-buffer
  10.    * Intuition menus
  11.    * Global preferences
  12.    * Jump-scroll. (FAAST output!)
  13.    * Asynchronous typeahead. (Optional)
  14.    * Cursor-positioning using the mouse
  15.    * MC68020-optimized version
  16.    * And more...

  20.  Installation and usage
  21. ========================

  23.    If you don't like reading manuals longer than one screen-page, then
  24. install KingCON by running 'Installation'. This copies the necessary files
  25. and mounts 'KCON:' and 'KRAW:' for you.
  26.    To start a Shell that opens in a KingCON-console, type the following (in
  27. an already opened shell):

  29.     NewShell WINDOW KCON:
  30. or
  31.     NewShell WINDOW KCON:////Testing/CLOSE/JUMP

  33.    If you now want to try out the filename-completion, type this:

  35.        type s:sta
  36.  
  37.    Hit the TAB-key (directly after the last 'a'), and you will get the idea
  38. with filename-completion. Or do you always spell 'Startup-Sequense'
  39. correctly in less that 1 second?
