  1. NetSpeak 1.1 - A *very* experimental plugin for NetStat 1.8
  2. (i.e. use at your own risk)

  5. This one's for you Bablos, you asked for it - you got it :)

  7. Netspeak will play a sample at a given interval whilst NetStat is running
  8. and 'Online'.
  9.  
  10. When first run it willl analyse the script 'netstat:samples'.  In example 
  11. script is included, but the basic format is:
  12.  
  13. 1 doh
  14. 5 woohoo repeat 10
  15.  
  16. This plays the sample named 'doh' on when the online counter reaches 1
  17. minute, then woohoo at 5 minutes and every subsequent 10 minutes (15,25,35
  18. etc).

  20. The samples to be played, must be in the directory 'netstat:sounds' and 
  21. must be in Amiga IFF format.

  23. *** WARNING ***

  25. For some unknown reason, NetSpeak has been known to guru the machine if quit
  26. with Netstat still running.  I have absolutely no idea why it does this, 
  27. but I'm looking into it.  It exits just fine without Netstat running, so 
  28. make sure you quit Netstat first.

  31. running this program.  You have been warned.

  35. Occasionally guru's machine if quit with Netstat running
  36. Guru's machine if quit while sample is playing
  37. Actually plays sample 1 second too late - eek, major one this ;)

  39. No other known bugs (probably means there are loads)
