  4. The Fargo Primera printer driver (Primera), and the Primera Control  
  5. Interface (PCI), are Copyright 1993-1994 by Fargo Electronics, Inc., 
  6. All rights reserved.

  8. To install, simply double-click the Install icon or type:
  9.  
  10.         copy df0:Primera#? devs:printers
  11.         copy df0:PCI#? sys:WBStartup
  12.  
  13. If version 2.0 or earlier are present, also type:
  14.  
  15.         delete devs:printers/primera.k#?
  16.         delete sys:WBStartup/PKG#?
  17.  
  18. Then use the Preferences Printer program to select "Primera" as the 
  19. current printer and refer to the driver manual for more information.

  21. Use the Preferences PrinterGfx program to set the graphics printing
  22. options and refer to the driver manual for more information.

  24. The density gadget informs the driver of the type of ribbon you have:
  25.  
  26.      Density 1: 3 color ribbon (YMC).
  27.      Density 2: Monochrome ribbon (K).
  28.      Density 3: 4 color ribbon (YMCK).
  29.      Density 4: Dye Sublimation Color (YMC).
  30.      Density 5: Dye Sublimation Monochrome (K).
  31.      Density 6: Reserved
  32.      Density 7: Reserved

  34. The Printer Control Interface (PCI) contains tool types which may be edited 
  35. to alter the operation of the printer.  Refer to the manual for more 
  36. information.

  38. Tool Types:
  39.         DONOTWAIT                        Terminate but Stay Resident.
  40.        (BaseName=device:drawer/name)     Remove "()" to specify tempfile.
  41.         Heat=49                          Heat Adjustment (see manual).
  42.         WLeft=0                          Left position of window.
  43.         WTop=500                         Top position of window.
  44.         Correct=ON                       DyeSub color correction.
  45.         PopUp=YES                        Should window appear?
  46.         Offset=0                         Shift image down page by n lines.
  47.         ToFile=FALSE                     Print to printer or to file?

  49. Basename is the location of the temp file created during printing.  It also 
  50. will be the name of the file created for print-to-file.  The default is the 
  51. same directory as PCI resides.  You may change it to a drive and directory 
  52. with more room if desired.  Remove the "()" or this line is ignored.
