  3. Thanks to everyone who sent me e-mails about amoric V1.5
  4.  
  5. I'm sorry that the older version was that buggy: the locale failed, the program was
  6. totally unstable, some features were disabled: a total failure compared to V1.4a
  7.  
  8. I apologize to the users for the problems they encountered, but NOT to PD companies
  9. (except aminet) which distributed my program without contacting me in any way nor testing
  10. it to see if it's got bugs. Now you've got a buggy version in your PD library.

  13. This new version is still V1.5 but I removed some nasty bugs, and Amoric seems to be
  14. stable on my computer again :-)
  15. I changed the startup code, so Amoric is now coded 100% in assembler.

  19. - Some people told me this version was slower than the others. That's because the cpu speed
  20.   must be adjusted to suit your machine power. Don't hesitate to put 70% cpu speed or
  21.   even 50% to see if it works better.
  22.   With a 68060, I can set it to 320%.

  24. - I also added a QUICKSTART option (like in Shapeshifter) to skip the prefs screen.

  26. - Save and Restore state don't work anymore. Don't try them, it often calls the guru
  27. (especially in hires mode). I disabled the Save-Restore Quick keys (F8-F9).

  29. - Due to multitasking, some minor graphic or sound bugs will appear. I'll try to correct
  30.   them soon.

  32. This version is a quick bugfix for the old archive Amoric V1.5.
