  1. Hello out there in Amiga Land.
  2. I've had my Amiga (well actually I'm onto my third, but there you go) for
  3. six loooong years now.  I was recently looking through some old floppys and
  4. I found a lot of old work I thought I had lost.  I'm an artist (Cor!
  5. Doesn't that sound really pretentious?), or at least that's what I'm paid
  6. for, and since '92 I've had very little time to do personal stuff on the
  7. Amiga.  Instead I've used it to do video titles and special effects (on
  8. college films), and I now use it to do graphics for CD ROMS on P(iss)C's
  9. (HA!  The Irony of this never escapes me, or one of the guys I work for for
  10. that matter - HI NIK!).  So anyway, I dug up all these old (and not so old)
  11. gems.  Some aren't as good as I recall, others are much better, but please
  12. remember as you look through this retrospective (Hey, I started off being
  13. pretentious, no point stopping now) of someone who is NOT dead (just like
  14. the Amiga.  I too am having a slow time of it at the moment)(Oh bum!  I
  15. think I'll start this sentence again).  Please remember that a lot of these
  16. pictures were done by a spotty, bespectacled sixteen year old who had no
  17. social life (the rest were by a spotty, bespectacled person, over 16, but
  18. still with no social life).
  19. If you can't find any of the pictures then it's because they don't have
  20. Icons.  Select Show All from the menus and they will magically attain some
  21. (Say "Yes Paul!").  Or use a Directory Utility with a picture viewer, or
  22. just a picture viewer, I don't care, it's not my problem! OKAY! 
  23. If you actually give a monkeys, you can write to me for ANY reason (except
  24. to send me money, I think there's maybe one picture in this collection
  25. worth more than 50p of anyones money.  And that's of a copyrighted
  26. character) - and I do mean any reason, mail in the morning is all that gets

  54. figure that my picture of Harrison Ford made your machine super-horny and
  55. caused it to overheat and explode.  You view these pictures AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!

  57. previously copyrighted characters or pictures which I've based work on.
  58. The origional creators retain copyright of these, so they are getting work
  59. for nothing and can naff off if they want to sue me.
  60. The work in these Drawers can be used as you wish BUT MAY NOT BE CHANGED IN
  61. ANY WAY (This does not include resizing or changing the file type).
  62. Basically, if my name is there it stays there!  Amiga Format has permission
  63. to mess about to the extent that I've told them elsewhere.
