  6. Hello, everybody. Hope you are well and that you haven't given up hope on
  7. your favourite computer in view of the recent Commodore saga, and Escom
  8. planning to sell the basic A1200 at £399. (If anyone says that's a rip-off,
  9. you can always say that it will be cheaper through mail order, and that
  10. we'll still have top software at rock-bottom prices compared to the PC and
  11. Mac. I'm not saying they're BAD machines, just that their creative software
  12. (and the hardware itself in some cases) costs an arm and a leg (the games
  13. aren't that cheap either).

  15.     But that's enough whingeing. I haven't given up hope, and this cartoon
  16. I've been working on for the past five months should keep you happy. It's
  17. the latest CHARLEY CAT cartoon, the twelfth in the series, and Charley is
  18. in the Wild West this time, along with his two feline sidekicks, Jake (an
  19. overall poser) and Ricky (mad on gunpower). Their adversary is Tiger, the
  20. yellow striped cat from the first, second, fifth, eighth and ninth cartoons
  21. who pestered Charley relentlessly, usually trying to suck up to his
  22. girlfriend Alyson.

  24. WARNING: Although the cartoon itself is freely distributable (you may make
  25. copies, as long as everything on the original disks is also on the copy in
  26. its original unchanged format), the characters and other graphics are
  27. copyright and may not be used without my permission.
  28. SPECIAL WARNING: This cartoon has been split into four parts, each
  29. requiring 2Mb. Yes! This is open to ALL A1200 users! And as the A1200 is an
  30. accelerated machine, it will also take advantage of the extra speed to make
  31. the cartoon really rocket!
  32.     Also, the cartoon is Shareware. If you decide to use the cartoon on a
  33. regular basis, please send me a small fee of at least two pounds. You may
  34. use cheques, but please do not use travellers' cheques.
