  9. ║   ├███▄▄███─███─────┤     printer, type: COPY MANUAL2 PRN                   ║

  11. ║   ├███──────███──███┤     For a serial printer, insert your DOS disk        ║
  12. ║   ├███──────███▄▄███┤     and enter two commands:  MODE COM1:12,N,8,1,P     ║
  13. ║   ├███──────▀██████▀┤     and then MODE LPT1=COM1 (use appropriate baud     ║
  14. ║   ├─────────────────┤     rate if not 1200; see MODE entry in the DOS       ║
  15. ║   │ M A G A Z I N E │     manual for details).  Then use the same COPY      ║
  16. ║   └─────────────────┘     command above.  The manual is 55 pages long.      ║

  18. ║   To boot from this disk, use the DOS SYS command to install the system     ║
  19. ║   files, then copy COMMAND.COM onto it (see the accompanying brochure       ║
  20. ║   or your DOS manual for details).  Or, format a blank disk using the /S    ║
  21. ║   option and then copy all these files onto it with the COPY *.* command.   ║
