  14. WinTex 3.4 is the current best (I tried the others) WAD composition
  15. tool available. 
  16. WinTex real powerfull, but not completely trivial to figure, 
  17. especially compared to much simpler tools like NWT.
  18. Hopefully, WinTex comes with a big help file that contains manuals,
  19. tutorial and reference, a on-context help system (press F1),
  20. a tutorial mode and blue help texts. So if you can't figure it out 
  21. you should forget about building WADs right now :-)

  24. I hope this is as professional quality as you can expect from a 
  25. Freeware product! Lots of work was invested in it, from me and
  26. from all my beta testers and supporters.

  30. Note for CD users: WinTex can't run from CD because it needs
  31. to write files in it's own directory (wintex.ini, output.txt
  32. and error.txt) so you must install on HD.
