  1. SAB Diskette Utility is a Windows 3 application that provides
  2. the user with a set of services that makes the copying,
  3. comparing, and formatting of diskettes a pleasure instead of
  4. a pain.  It makes use of the Input/Output Control interface to
  5. read/format/write a track at a time.  It will copy, in a single
  6. pass, the entire contents of a diskette, at the sector level,
  7. into an image either in memory or in a temporary hard disk file.
  8. The image can then be used to produce multiple copies of the
  9. original diskette.  It also can be saved in a file on a hard
  10. disk.  Read/compare/write operations can be limited to allocated
  11. cylinders to conserve time and image space. The system makes use
  12. of the Windows 3 Messages and Timers to work cooperatively with
  13. other Windows 3 applications. Supports unlimited number of
  14. diskette drives.

  18. All of the functions needed to copy or format diskettes are
  19. contained in a DLL.  A sample "C" program is included that
  20. uses the DLL to copy or format diskettes.  A Microsoft QH
  21. compatible file (SABDU001.HLP) is included.

  24.    DOS 3.2 or higher.
  25.    Windows 3.0 or higher.

  32. The difference types of licenses available are:

  34. Home Use: This license gives the user the right to install a
  35. copy of SAB Diskette Utility on one non-commercial machine used
  36. at home.

  38. Business - Single CPU:  This license gives the user the right
  39. to install a copy of SAB Diskette Utility on one CPU used in
  40. the performance of the user's business.
  41.  
  42. Business - Site:  This license gives the user the right to
  43. install a copy of SAB Diskette Utility on all machines used
  44. in the performance of the user's business at one location.
  45.  
  46. Business--Unlimited:  This license gives the user the right
  47. to install a copy of SAB Diskette Utility on all machines used
  48. in the performance of the user's business anywhere in the world.

  50. The business licenses also gives one user of each of those machines
  51. the right to install SAB Diskette Utility on a non-commercial
  52. machine used at home.  This right to use SAB Diskette Utility at
  53. home ceases if the user leaves the company holding the business
  54. license.

  56. To register it select the registration option on the main menu,
  57. fill in the information, print the completed form, sign it, and
  58. send it with a check for the appropriate amount to the address
  59. shown on the form.

  61. Note: All registrations will be recognized by new versions that
  62.       are released within six months of the original registration.
