- Subject: Trumpet Telnet
-
- Can anyone tell me why whenever I am connected to a telnet server
- using Trumpet Telnet .....old text that I have read remains on the screen
- and gets mixed up with the new text that is scrolling up. they mix together
- and get garbled up. When I minimize the window then maximize it again
- to get the screen to redraw...the text correct itself until new text scrolls
- up and get garbled in the old text again. HELP!!

-
- You got the IP address wrong.
- sam.neosoft.com is 198.64.6.17
-
- Entries in the HOSTS file are used in preference over DNS lookups.
- Naturally, Eudora kept trying to connect to the POP3 port (110) on the
- wrong computer -- hence the connection refused message.
