- If anybody downloaded wsarch02.zip from ftp.demon.co.uk, then I'm afraid
- you got the previous version due to a mix up at demon. Either go to
- ftp.sunet.se or wait 24 hours from the time on this post and things should be
- sorted out at demon.
-
- The new wsarch02 file is 159,993 bytes in size and the unzipped wsarchie.exe
- is 206064 bytes in size and has a date in it's about box.
-
- Apologies for the inconvienience.

- WSARCHIE is calling closesocket with a value of -1. No harm is done far as I
- know. I thought I'd gotten rid of it but I haven't. I guess 0.3 will clean

-
- If you downloaded from ftp.demon.co.uk, you are probably still using the
- version released mid-march. This was due to a mix up by the upload
- administrator.
-
- To check look in the about dialog and the version
- should be 0.2 and the date 30 March 1994 should be present. You should get
- better service as this version is less nice! However there seems to be some
- problems if your archie server responds too fast, I'm not sure how I'll be
- able to replicate that though.

- -recipiants and nicknames(why they did it i can't tell you (geez my commen

- rembering e-mail addresses) then i mark the ones i use alot as recipiants and
- the rest are there so if i need to send them e-mail all i have to do is type
- the name i gave them and for the commen ones i just highlite their name in the

- Subject: HGopher and Temporary Files
-
- Hi,
-
- I am trying out HGopher 2.4 and I am generally quite pleased.
-
- However, there seems to be a problem with the deletion of
- temporary files. I have selected in the options menu to delete them
- when the viewer exits. But I noticed that the files (eg. text files viewed
- with Notepad) were not deleted after Notepad exited.
-
- Is this delete-on-viewer-exit option not yet implemented?
-
- The temporary files were deleted when HGopher exits, though.
