Freeware for Windows 95/98/NT, WebLauncher, the Internet speed-demon's toolbar, provides convenient access to common Internet functions, including http, ftp, telnet, gopher, ping, tracert, whois, and finger. As a universal address bar, WebLauncher floats above other windows and easily replaces the Run panel of Windows and the address boxes of Web browsers.

  75. In addition to facilitating standard Web queries, WebLauncher incorporates basic news-retrieval functions and interfaces the babelfish.altavista.com translation engine and the enhanced GoTo.com search engine. With WebLauncher, search results are only a click away from any application!
