  16. Description: Stealth Ping is a handy little program that keeps you from 
  17. being logged off by your ISP for Internet inactivity. Stealth Ping 
  18. keeps you connected by sending packets of data at random or at fixed 
  19. intervals to simulate actual Internet activity. Unlike other connection 
  20. products that only ping the ISP at fixed intervals, Stealth Ping uses 
  21. an algorithm to vary the size and the interval of the data packets 
  22. sent. So, in Stealth mode, the ISP "thinks" the packets it is receiving 
  23. are normal Internet traffic. As a result, the inactivity timer running 
  24. on your account will be reset every 15 to 100 seconds. Simple to 
  25. install, Stealth Ping has an easy-to-use graphical interface and 
  26. occupies less than 38K of disk space.

  28. Version 3.0 features a dialog box that allows you to specify the number 
  29. of threads at start-up, ping a specific IP address, and set Standard 
  30. Pinging to be turned on at start-up. The main dialog now displays the 
  31. number of running threads and actual numerical count, and up to 25 
  32. threads may be run simultaneously to increase the product's 
  33. effectiveness at keeping you online. You may use Stealth Ping free for 
  34. 10 days. This program costs $24.95 to register.
