  72. The setup program which installs this software
  73. automatically checks for the needed files for you.
  74. If it gave you an error message about missing runtime
  75. files, then you will need to obtain them to run
  76. the program. If you are running Windows 95 then
  77. the setup program will ask you if you want to go
  78. to the Micromatt Web site to download them
  79. (Windows 95 only).

  81. Run-time files are NOT included in this archive.

  83. download the required runtime files if you do not
  84. already have them. These files are also available

  89. The file set is called the Microsoft Visual Basic
  90. 4.0 Runtime files. You must have the correct
  91. version of each set, which is 32 bit for Windows
  92. 95, and 16 bit for Windows 3.1. If you get error
  93. messages about missing .DLL files or other missing
  94. files, you will need to get a copy of the Visual
  95. Basic runtimes.

  97. To check if you already have the files, use the
  98. Windows 95 Find utility from the Start menu to
  99. search for the file: vb40032.dll . Or if you're a
  100. Windows 3.1 user, you can use the Search command
  101. in File Manager to locate the file: vb40016.dll .
  102. If your searching does not produce any results,
  103. you will need to obtain the Microsoft Visual Basic
  104. 4.0 runtime files from a source such as the
  105. Internet, a BBS, a friend or coworker, the
  106. Micromatt homepage, or by requesting the files by
  107. email from Micromatt. If you need help obtaining
  108. these files, please contact Micromatt.

  140. Conecting to and exploringing the Internet has
  141. never been easier! Instead of manually loading
  142. your browser and waiting for it to load, then
  143. typing in your URL, you can just type it in and
  144. let Instant Internet get you there while you
  145. work on other tasks. Likewise, type in an email
  146. address instead of getting into your email
  147. software first.

  150. browser's URL box to take full advantage of the
  151. features available. Group emailing, "?" quick
  152. searches, shortcuts, fast emailing, and more
  153. wait to benefit you and save you time and
  154. hassle.

  157. INSTALLATION
  158.  
  159. To install the program, open or unzip the archive
  160. and run the SETUP.EXE file. In the setup program,
  161. select the appropriate options or simply choose the
  162. defaults presented to you (recommended).

  165. HOW TO REGISTER
  166.  
  167. This shareware program is bundled with a program
  168. called REGISTER which will accept information
  169. needed to make an order. With it, you can order
  170. via postal mail, email or fax using cash,
  171. Mastercard, Visa, American Express or First
  172. Virtual. All credit card information is encoded
  173. for your security. The REGISTER program is
  174. available by clicking any button which says
  175. Order, or by clicking on Register in the Help
  176. menu.

  190. HOW TO USE
  191.  
  192. Starting the program will show its icon in the
  193. system tray of your Windows 95 desktop in the
  194. lower right corner of the screen. Double click
  195. the icon to load the main window. Once in the
  196. program, just type a in a URL, email address,
  197. or shortcut and hit the "Go!" button.
  198.  
  199. Use the Options Dialog to change the settings
  200. of the program and to create and modify
  201. shortcuts. A shortcut is simply a common name
  202. for an Internet site or email address to make
  203. often used items fast to access.
  204.  
  205. To do a quick search from the Instant Internet
  206. window type a question mark followed by your
  207. search text to use the search engine you
  208. specify in the Options Dialog. For example,
  209. "? micromatt football fury" would search for
  210. documents related to the search string.
