  39. Conecting to and exploringing the Internet has
  40. never been easier! Instead of manually loading 
  41. your browser and waiting for it to load, then
  42. typing in your URL, you can just type it in and 
  43. let Instant Internet get you there while you
  44. work on other tasks. Likewise, type in an email
  45. address instead of getting into your email
  46. software first.

  48. Once you're on you can stick the window over the
  49. browser's URL box to take full advantage of the
  50. features available. Group emailing, "?" quick
  51. searches, shortcuts, fast emailing, and more
  52. wait to benefit you and save you time and 
  53. hassle.

  56. HOW TO USE
  57.  
  58. Starting the program will show its icon in the
  59. system tray of your Windows 95 desktop in the
  60. lower right corner of the screen. Double click
  61. the icon to load the main window. Once in the
  62. program, just type a in a URL, email address,
  63. or shortcut and hit the "Go!" button.
  64.  
  65. Use the Options Dialog to change the settings
  66. of the program and to create and modify 
  67. shortcuts. A shortcut is simply a common name
  68. for an Internet site or email address to make
  69. often used items fast to access.

  71. To do a quick search from the Instant Internet
  72. window type a question mark followed by your
  73. search text to use the search engine you 
  74. specify in the Options Dialog. For example,
  75. "? micromatt football fury" would search for
  76. documents related to the search string.

  81. INSTALLATION
  82.  
  83. To install the program, open or unzip the archive 
  84. and run the SETUP.EXE file. In the setup program, 
  85. select the appropriate options or simply choose the 
  86. defaults presented to you (recommended).

  89. HOW TO REGISTER
  90.  
  91. This shareware program is bundled with a program 
  92. called REGISTER which will accept information 
  93. needed to make an order. With it, you can order 
  94. via postal mail, email or fax using cash, 
  95. Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover,
  96. Diner's Club or First Virtual. All credit card 
  97. information is encoded for your security. The 
  98. REGISTER program is available by clicking any 
  99. button which says Order, or by clicking on 
  100. Register in the Help menu.

  104. online on a secured site. The Windows 95 verision
  105. of this program has buttons with the words "Order
  106. Online" which will take you straight to this site.

  111. RUNTIME FILES
  112.  
  113. The setup program which installs this software 
  114. automatically checks for the needed files. If 
  115. it gave you an error message about missing runtime 
  116. files, then you will need to obtain them to run 
  117. the program. If you are running Windows 95 then 
  118. the setup program will ask you if you want to go 
  119. to the Micromatt Web site to download them 
  120. (Windows 95 only).

  122. Run-time files are NOT included in this archive.

  124. download the required runtime files if you do not 
  125. already have them. These files are also available 
  126. from many other sites on the Internet such as:

  130. The file set is called the Microsoft Visual Basic 
  131. 4.0 Runtime files. You must have the correct 
  132. version of each set, which is 32 bit for Windows 
  133. 95, and 16 bit for Windows 3.1. If you get error 
  134. messages about missing .DLL files or other missing 
  135. files, you will need to get a copy of the Visual 
  136. Basic runtimes.

  138. To check if you already have the files, use the 
  139. Windows 95 Find utility from the Start menu to 
  140. search for the file: vb40032.dll . Or if youÆre a 
  141. Windows 3.1 user, you can use the Search command 
  142. in File Manager to locate the file: vb40016.dll . 
  143. If your searching does not produce any results, 
  144. you will need to obtain the Microsoft Visual Basic 
  145. 4.0 runtime files from a source such as the 
  146. Internet, a BBS, a friend or coworker, or the 
  147. Micromatt homepage. If you need help obtaining 
  148. these files please contact Micromatt.
