  9. (1) PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

  11.   The DirectUpdate client allows a user to benefit from 
  12.   DirectUpdate enabled products, in order to automatically
  13.   check for new revisions of your software products, download 
  14.   these from the internet, and install them on your machine.

  16.   Features and Benefits:
  17.     - Automatic version check of your favorite software titles
  18.       (they need to be DirectUpdate enabled -- please contact
  19.       us with the software manufacturer name and we will 
  20.       do our best to get your title DirectUpdate enabled)
  21.     - A newer version of your software title is available? No
  22.       more fussing around! DirectUpdate will automatically 
  23.       download the newer version for you. DirectUpdate will
  24.       even install the new version if it was configured to.

  54. (4) INSTALLATION / UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

  56.   To install DirectUpdate on your computer, you first will 
  57.   need to extract the files in they came packaged in a zip
  58.   file. To do so, one may use a software such as WinZip.
  59.   Run the Setup program, and follow its instructions.

  62. (5) UNINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  64.   To uninstall DirectUpdate from your computer, please open
  65.   the Control Panel, double-click on the "Add/Remove Prorgams"
  66.   icon, select "DirectUpdate" and click on the "Add/Remove" 
  67.   button.
