  4. WebMail provides access to LAN-based e-mail systems from the World Wide
  5. Web.  Unlike other remote access solutions, WebMail does not require any
  6. proprietary dial-in software nor forwarding of mail to a special address
  7. while you're on the road.  Now, remote offices, employees who travel or
  8. work from home, vendors, clients, and others who need access to your
  9. e-mail system can use a single remote solution.  All that's required is a
  10. supported browser and access to the World Wide Web.  WebMail features an
  11. e-mail independent database access API.  This allows the product to
  12. support a wide variety of e-mail applications and protocols.  WebMail is
  13. also platform independent, so any machine with access to the World Wide
  14. Web can become a part of your LAN e-mail system.  WebMail reduces remote
  15. e-mail access costs and simplifies e-mail management for remote sites.

  17. Internet can enjoy e-mail connectivity that previously required long
  18. distance phone calls.  Support of remote e-mail users is simplified
