  5. To have this program running successfully you must have the following line in
  6. your CONFIG.SYS:

  8. DEVICE=C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS
  9.  
  10. This will enable the ANSI Driver.
  11.  
  12. Now copy the ANS.BAT file into your Xtree Gold directory. Now that you have
  13. done that you can press "o" on any file that has the extension .ANS and it will
  14. display the ANSI File for you. You can also double click on a .ANS file if you
  15. have a mouse.

  17. This bat file is good for sysops who often use ANSI files and want to view them
  18. quickly.
