  18.   █   If you hadn't noticed,  visions is an ANSI viewer which can also ░ ▓

  32.       Using Turbo Pascal 6.0 because Jock can't afford to buy C and no   ░
  33.       one  will give  him a pirated copy  (If you're from the SPA take   ░
  34.       this as a lie.) It took about 1-2 weeks to make visions, working   ░
  35.       1-2 hours a day after school.                                      ░

  38.      ■  Visions IS almost entirely running in text mode !!               ░
  39.         ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

  41.       The only bits  that do not are the "VGA Scroller" and "VGA Dump"
  42.       display modes which run in mode 13h. Everything else, and I mean
  43.       EVERYTHING  ELSE, runs  in  text mode 3.  When you see the first
  44.       screen  with the  multicoloured  highlight bar, it does not look
  45.       like it because there's more than 16 colours on the screen.
  46.       Actually,  it is  just a  very clever  bit of  programming which   ░
  47.       means  that you can  have many more colours  like that but IT IS
  48.       STILL IN TEXT MODE.  All of this  also applies to all the pixel-   ░
  49.       by-pixel  scrolling which  you  may  have  seen  in Acidview  or   ░
  50.       other  loaders  around the place, Acid coders will tell you that   ▒
  51.    ▓  it IS IN TEXT  MODE.  So, there, don't take my word, take Acid's   ▓
  52.    ▒  word.                                                              █

  73.       Once again, the Australian demo scene is so lame that we decided
  74.       to make our own demo.  The demo  is really  hopeless  but it's a
  75.       pretty  good start.   It was our  first  production  but Visions
  76.    ░  should be  out before it  because we're  still  waiting  on some
  77.       music for it.
