  5. Here is the last "beta" (non-save-demo).
  6. The next Demo will be the final full Demo Release and it is hoped
  7. that it will be released onto our Web site/Aminet sometime in June 96.
  8.  
  9. To save confusion, this one is titled ocss_Beta_Demo.lha
  10.  
  11. The final Demo Release will be titled OcssV1_Demo.lha
  12. However, to be honest it is very doubtfull that many of the later
  13. additions/alterations made in the final Demo version will appear
  14. obvious to you when compared to the one you now have your mits on.  ;)
  15.  
  16. There are two mods with this demo that have been loaded in as
  17. the normal 8bit and then using the new mix routines in Soundstudio,
  18. re-saved in mix mode which will alow you to select 14bit to play via
  19. the Paula chip as, surprise...nigh on 14bit.
  20. Obviously the orginal samples make a lot of difference to reproduction
  21. in mix modes 14bit, but if you use this new version with good quality
  22. 8 bit samples, you will be able to mix them and use the samples with
  23. the mix mode 14bit which will give your mods a significant increase
  24. in quality which will help those that do not own soundcards.
  25. Of course, a soundcard like Aura, Toccata etc, is still better!!

  27. You will see that the notation editor is nigh on complete,
  28. just the compugraphic fonts to be sorted/alligned.

  30. note that as with normal save function restrictions, you cannot of
  31. course save a sample directly to the hd in this demo and therefore
  32. the direct to disk window option is not available.
  33.  
  34. If you do not own one, then the Toccata, maestix, delfina option
  35. windows will not open/show.
  36.  
  37. Finaly, please note that if you get a "stack overflow" report
  38. when running this beta demo, please set your stack to 70000
  39. prior to running again and all will be well.
  40.  
  41. The final full release version will not require this to be done of course.

  63.  If you would like to purchase the full and completed version, read on...
  64.  The English language version of OctaMED SoundStudio V1 will be going on
  65.  sale late July 1996. Please note that this is for orders made directly to
  66.  RBF Software only. Other language translations/distributors will come later
  67.  
  68.  A German language "prog"¹, is also available directly from us,
  69.  so if you are ordering from Germany, you can state "German version" on
  70.  your order and we will send you that one.

  72.  ¹"prog" means that the program itself (the screen displayed when run),
  73.  is in the German language, the remaining "on disk" docs and the printed
  74.  manual will still be in the English language however.

  79.  35 UK pounds sterling inc postage. The full (not registered V6 owner) price
