  8.   1. Introduction
  9.  
  10.  This program has been designed to allow you to use The Disk Masher from
  11. Paradox. It allows you to crunch an entire disk onto one file that can be
  12. stored easyly on harddrive or floppy. It is used to store files on
  13. coverdisks such as the one`s on CU Amiga of Amiga Format.

  15.   2. How it works
  16.  
  17.  The disks stores it data in bytes. All that the disk masher does is, for
  18. example some bytes are 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 1 1 0 1 0 1 0 0 or 3378 it would give
  19. this sequence a code such as e5 and and shorting it by half.

  21.   3. How to pack a disk using Easy DMS
  22.  
  23.  When you first double click on the EASY DMS icon you will presented with a
  24. menu with 4 buttons. Pack, Unpack, Copyright Warning and Quit. Click on the
  25. Pack icon. You be asked to put the disk you wish to pack into DF0:. Do this
  26. and hit any key. Now you will be asked if you wish to put a encryption on
  27. the disk. This, if you want to will put a code on the file so that it cannot
  28. be open without the password. If you type Y  and press return you will be
  29. asked to type the password you wish to put on the disk. Do this and press
  30. return. You will be askes top retype the code to verify what you had typed
  31. before. Press return and a Menu will come up asking you to choose what
  32. directory you wnat to put the file and what you wish to call it. Do this and
  33. press return, press a key and the disk in DF0: will start to get packed. The
  34. text will change colour to prevent screen burn. When the text has finished
  35. changing colour the dms is finnish, it will tell you wether it has been
  36. successful. Hit a key and your all done.

  38.  3. How to unpack a disk using Easy DMS
  39.  
  40.  Click on the Unpack button. Choose a DMS file you wish to unpack. If that
  41. file has a encryption code type Y to the next question and type it in. You
  42. will then be asked if you want to play a peace of tracker music type Y for
  43. the next question and choose one of the Easy DMS disk or another one you
  44. have lying around. Now put a blank disk into DF0: and press a key. The music
  45. will start and the file will decompress onto this disk. Press a key when the
  46. text stops flashing and thats all finished.

  48.  4. The two other buttons

  50.  The two other buttons are one for the copyright rules of using the program
  51. and one at the bottom to quit.
