  9.      showpicture - View an image received in the mail

  11. SYNOPSIS
  12.      showpicture  [-viewer program-name] file-name(s)

  14. DESCRIPTION
  15.      The _s_h_o_w_p_i_c_t_u_r_e program will allow a  user  on  a  properly-
  16.      equipped  workstation  to  view a picture using the xloadim-
  17.      age(1) program.  It is intended to be  called  from  mailcap
  18.      files, typically by the metamail(1) program.
  19.  
  20.      By default, the program used to display pictures  under  X11
  21.      is  "xloadimage  -view  -quiet -geometry +1+1".  This can be
  22.      overridden either by the environment variable X_VIEWER or by
  23.      the -viewer command line option.
