  9.      ezview - View an Andrew "ez" format document
  10.  
  11. SYNOPSIS
  12.      ezview  [path-to-ez] file name
  13.  
  14. DESCRIPTION
  15.      The _e_z_v_i_e_w program allows users to view Andrew-format files.
  16.      If the Andrew "ez" program is present on the search path, it
  17.      will try to run it.  If that program is not present,  or  if
  18.      it  cannot  run  (e.g. because the user is not running X11),
  19.      ezview will produce, on stdout, a text-only version  of  the
  20.      Andrew  document.  This text-only version will have all font
  21.      information removed, and will replace embedded objects  such
  22.      as  pictures  with a statement to the effect that "a picture
  23.      appeared here".

  25.      If ezview is called with two arguments, the first is  inter-
  26.      preted as a full path name for the "ez" command.
  27.  
  28.      If the file named is simply "-", ezview will read from stan-
  29.      dard input.

  31.      Users not accustomed to Andrew may find it  useful  to  know
  32.      that  if  you hold down the middle mouse button in an Andrew
  33.      window, you will get a set of menus, one of which is "Quit."
