An excellent moduleplays along in the background but there is no groundbreaking stuff to be found here. Soom more zoom rotated piccys, a couple more normal piccys. One of the best AGA demos to date. All backed up with a brill version of Bjorks Big Time Sensuality and the group who wrote this say its only an INTRO!!!! AGA only, with some superb zoom/fallthrough effects loosely based on the usual tunnel effects but in solid colour, as well as some great polar-based colour mapping and false-colour landscape flybys. Done to a superb laid-back techno soundtrack. Unpack and chill. COMMODORE AGA ......................................... 1 AD0020 MOTION ORIGIN ) ....................................... 2 AD0021a/b Starting off with a superb Oddysey-esque intro which is raytraced and some stunning realtime fractal landscapes. The demo takes us on a journey through the eyes of an excellently created 3D vector ED-209 lookalike around a vector world before jumping down a chute and going on a superfast tunnel effect ride. Finishing the demo off is a nice realtime rotated picture and a slightly crap Doom-esque world. FULL MOON (FAIRLIGHT) ................................. 1 AD0034 This bugger takes 10 minutes to load (seriously!!) Is it worth it. You bet. As usual, Fairlight come up with a cracking demo starting with a great zoom rotation, and then onto a doom-esque world. Very spooky atmospheric toon which jumps into hardcore rave. Saucy piccys splashed here and there as well. Didn't seem to like running on a 6Meg A1200 with 68881 though. FUTURISTIC MIND ....................................... 1 AD0035 some new effects in this one. Not bad, realeased at the Party III. GALAMANDS 93 .......................................... 1 AD0036 GEVALIA (POLKA BROS) .................................. 1 AD0037 Polka Bros are excellent at coming up with their own unique style of demos: intense, humorous, always fresh with new effects, tied in perfectly with a fast and funky soundtrack. Gevalia is no exception. On the menu we have: abstract vector patterns a cartoon crocodile, a very strange stylised animation, a twisty cube-within-a-cube, a delicious new swirly pattern routine, a picture, a super speedy tunnel sequence, the credits and an abrupt end. Superb stuff. TRAILOR INTRO FOR EUROCHART #25 ....................... 1 AD0038 GO WITH THE FLOW ...................................... 1 AD0039 a pretty good demo, which even includes a game which you must complete before continuing.original. HOIS MEGA DEMO (TEAM HOI) ............................ 1 AD0040 Nice demo, but dosn't really show off the A1200/A4000, so we still have to wait for the REALLY good stuff!, but still worth getting, as it is a piece of history! HOIS MEGA DEMO 2 (TEAM HOI) ........................... 1 AD0041 Mindwarp: Team Hoi's follow-up to the average Planet Groove demo. I'm glad to say that this one is much better! It still isn't fully exploiting the new architecture, but it has some nice star efects, and the ever popular tunnel sections are certainly worth viewing! NOXIOUS BEYOND BELIEF ................................. 1 AD0063 Dot effects, 16 vector multi-coloured cubes, Cindy Crawford piccy, Brilliant Intel Outside zoom logo thing. More dot effects, pics and scrollers. It all looks like a 1980's demo though. Hard Drive Installable. Excellent graphics, and some breathtaking sections. Even the first Amiga Real-time fractal animation. Very good. Forget Team Hois. Mega 256,000 colour backdrops, super fast vectors, and sprite scaling (SNES owners take note!) amongst the other routines. The first REAL AGA demo. there are some really neat affects and plenty of colour and movement. briliant visuals, but the text is all in french. Still, the demo PROJECT ALPHA ........................................ 6 AD0071a/f a superb demo but requires 4meg and a hard drive. QED 2 ................................................. 1 AD0072 a real stunning demo, brilliant effects.buy this one. QUACKBUSTED 2 ......................................... 1 AD0073 Some very good pictures and some mind bending animations. A very good quality soundtrack tops this great demo off. RAGING FIRE ........................................... 1 AD0074 bloody brilliant rock soundtrack to this one. Comes complete with a spinning bulls head in a SNES fashion kind of style. This is pretty good but a little short. RAM JAM : IT CAN'T BE DONE ............................ 2 AD0075a/b Nice demo starting of with a nicked effect from the Fairlight 242 demo. Then onto a screen with some bad language (cant be helped, sorry) and then moving swiftly on to a 6 sided texture mapped object. Each side has a different map. There are 2 fast moving texture mapped citys and some more swirly colours and stuff before finally displaying a screen of more bad language. Like it or loathe it. RAY WORLD (INFESTATION) ............................... 3 AD0076a/c This demo starts off with a silly clock type thing making you think it could be really crap. Then onto a nice animated wireframe figure running around the screen. A 3D vector world is next on the list. Quite nice but nothing you haven't seen before. As you would have guessed in a demo called Ray World, there would be plenty of Ray-Traced bits and there is indeedy. Pictures and animations and allsorts. More vector worlds and bits finish this demo off. REAL (COMPLEX) ........................................ 1 AD0077 a 1 disk masterpiece! A great tunnel, with some amazing music and sounds. Full use of the AGA chipset. a short but top quality AGA demo. Good. RETINA BURN ........................................... 1 AD0078 RETRA BURN ............................................ 2 AD0079a/b RETINA EURO 1 ......................................... 1 AD0080 ROMBUST ............................................... 1 AD0081 RUNAWAY BRAIN ......................................... 1 AD0082 SANITY SCALA .......................................... 1 AD0083 SCAN IS LAME .......................................... 2 AD0084a/b This is more like it. The best quality, most professionally puttogether slideshow since Revelations. 2 disks containing 7, 256 colour pictures in Hi-Res with the most amazing quality imaginable.If you own a 1200/4000 then you must get this slideshow. A brilliant Robosaur and 2 women are just some of the pictures found on here. Awesome. N.B There's a bit of nudity on here, but nothing too offensive to the weaker sex. SMELLS LIKE CHANEL NO.5 ............................... 1 AD0085 According to 'Stuart the plophead', its the best AGA demo ever. SNAKE RIDER ........................................... 2 AD0086a/b This is a bit like an AGA version of the classic Odyssey demo. A bit of a mini-movie, and a very impressive show. SOHO .................................................. 3 AD0087a/c SOME JUSTICE '94' .................................... 1 AD0088 This one has one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard, you won't believe it until you hear it for yourself. MUST be heard. (not a4000) SONIC ATTACK .......................................... 4 AD0089a/d SORRY ................................................. 1 AD0090 ray traced anim in AGA mode, nice plasma effects and some smooth vectors. Good music. SOUL KITCHEN: SILENTS ................................ 2 AD0091a/b STELLAR (MIND FLOW) ................................... 1 AD0092 An excellent AGA only demo extravaganza, released at the Assembly 94. Starting off with a superb tune and jumping straight into some super fast textured landscapes. Other usuals are there including picture zoom rotation and various other wondrous effects. SUBLIMINAL XTC ........................................ 2 AD0093a/b Nice music demo, with AGA backing graphics. Pretty good, and it seems that AGA demos are improving at last! SURVIVE ............................................... 2 AD0094a/b TALENT ................................................ 1 AD0095 TASTE DIFFERENCE ...................................... 2 AD0096a/b TEAM HOI SAGA III ..................................... 5 AD0097a/e A good texture mapping section starts off this demo. Features a preview of a stunning forthcoming AGA game, with some fantastic parallax and colourful AGA effects. Much better than the other two Team Hoi demos. Warning: This contains some 'adult' material, so I suppose it should be an 18 cert. TECHNO TRACKS 2 (TROJAN) .............................. 1 AD0098 Techno Techno Techno. Only the one massive long thumping track onhere with some excellent plasma effects and flashy screens guarenteedto get all you epileptics out there bouncing off the walls. THE KID ............................................... 1 AD0099 A rather good new MegaDemo. Decent music, and some very neat graphical effects. Includes impressive SNES-like realtime full screen rotation and zooming. The only problem is that it is a little short, and that it disklikes any 32 bit FAST RAM, so turn it off before running this great demo (use Degrader). Once agin, very good. TMA ................................................... 1 AD0100 TRSI .................................................. 1 AD0101 TWISTED (POLKA BROS) .................................. 4 AD0102a/d this is brilliant, the best yet from the polka bros. the demo contains loads of new and neat effects, with digitised animations, tunnel sequences (similar to that in super stardust) plasma patterns and more. VIRTUAL JOURNEY ....................................... 1 AD0103 techno in hyper mode. VOLCANO ............................................... 1 AD0104 This demo is weird. It's got a startup-sequence but when you try and boot it, it says it cant find any AGA chips. It MUST be loaded through workbench. It's hard drive installable too. The main feature on here is a 256 colour volcano made up of over 10.000 dots. Very nice. A metal/dance track plays continuosly. 8 bitplane bouncing balls, a nice raytrace piccy called Coders Lunch, some nice dot fireworks and other plasma routines all go to make this a reasonable AGA effort. WOLFENSTEIN DEMO ...................................... 1 AD0105 XANADU EXPLICIT 2 ..................................... 1 AD0106 A so-so tunnel effect gets the ball rolling, then onto a scaled rolling box (whoopee) followed by a split 3D vector cube (a 3 year old routine?) and finally a duff picture with realtime rotation which looks awful. ZINKO ................................................. 1 AD0107 another demo by the Polka Bros. Short but sweet. ZOOT JE ............................................... 1 AD0108 an absolute stonker of a demo. It's pretty mental all round, based on Beavis & Butthead and a TV, good music and samples, visuals not quite as impressive but it is only on one disk and is a personal favourite of mine. Definatly worth a look. COMPLEX: PEEWEE ....................................... 1 AD0109 SWITCHBACK: REBELS ................................... 2 AD0110a/b Rebels come up with some pretty damn good demo's and i'm pleased to say this is NO exception. DIGITAL EXTEMPORIZED .................................. 1 AD0111 very good AGA music demo. 6 long, decent music tracks, and AGA backing visuals. For all you music fans. CYBERWAR DEMO ......................................... 2 AD0141a/b a demo of the hyped lawnmower man sequel, Cyberwar. looks good, but will it ever happen. WHIGFIELD - SATURDAY NIGHT ............................ 1 AD0142 an enjoyable mod (if you liked the original), with an extra bonus added in of a nude picture of Whigfield, spinning around the screen. Only one problem, the picture won't hold still to get a good look. please sign over 18 (x-rated) BETON: RUMBLE RUBBLE .................................. 1 AD0143 a pretty good demo, some good features and effects, including rave style credits, various fractal effects and more. ANATHEMA: OMEN ........................................ 1 AD0144 a short aga intro with a couple of spinning bits and pieces here and there. EVER BEEN LONELY ...................................... 1 AD0145 strange and short demo by the Polka Brothers, included is an odd movie clip of probably one the polka bros. ZOO: MAP .............................................. 1 AD0146 map is pretty average demo but does have some nice artwork and a couple of good effects, my favourite was the 256 colours cube. SWAMPTHING ............................................ 1 AD0147 this is an absolutly brilliant module demo of the chart single swampthing (originally done by The Grid). You would think it was the real thing. PSYCHADELIC ........................................... 3 AD0148a/b HOPEFULLY DEAD ........................................ 1 AD0149 a very impressive aga demo, some interesting and new effects, the flaming bi-plane looks brilliant. ** VERY GOOD ** MYSTIC: ILEX .......................................... 1 AD0150 TWISTED MINDS ......................................... 1 AD0151 THE AGA EXPERIENCE DEMO ............................... 1 AD0152 a strange demo here. It's only 3k in size, you run it through workbench, and watch the colours cycle. Very unusual. TEXT DEMO 5.7 ......................................... 1 AD0153 a superb step towards one of finger licking DOOM clones, yes, another one. We've not actually classed this as a game because all you do is walk around a bit. But still, it's looking good. CRONOS ................................................ 1 AD0154 this demo comes on 1 disk as an lha file, it needs to be unarchived and will only run on a HD. The unarchived file size is approx 1.3meg. The demo itself is pretty average but still not bad. ** HARD DRIVE ONLY ** ANIMATUNES ............................................ 2 AD0155a/b this is one of the biggest demos on the scene at the moment. It's certainly different. It contains animations, which are rathy arty, they have been drawn as if a 5 year old has scribbled with a crayola, it's french, and again, very different. Check out the brilliant tunnel sequence in this baby, GOOD. SPEED ................................................. 1 AD0156 this demo will only run on an 040 processor, so I was unable to try it. HAUJOBB: JAMMIN' ...................................... 1 AD0157 your average demo, contains some nice artwork, spinning shapes etc, but nothing new. DOVE .................................................. 2 AD0158a/b this demo isn't very new but we've only just managed to get a working copy, but it was worth the wait! dove a superb AGA demo, with loads of effective and attractive new effects, plus a coloured movie sequence to which resembles the likes of the one from 242. ** BRILLIANT ** FOOTSTEPS ............................................. 1 AD0159 this demo is more of a music demo than anything else. most of the contents of the demo is not AGA but something causes it to be. The music is a very good RAVE track, but unless you are into all that, you probably won't like it. RESPONSE .............................................. 1 AD0160 not yet looked at.
