- Stamped2 Texture
- Type: Color, Filter.
-
- This texture creates the effect of stamped plates, but unlike
- Imagine's stamped texture it makes round and eliptical ones.
- Apply it to a plane with the z-axis perpendicular to it.
- The texture creates a checkered pattern of horizontally and
- vertically oriented bumps. You can set the number of bumps
- per check. If the width and length of the bumps are the same,
- the bumps will be round. The bump width is relative to it's
- space in the checker (when you set it to 1, the bumps will
- touch), so when you want round bumps set the length to:
- bump length = bump width/number of bumps.
- You can also clip away the tops of the bumps as if they are
- worn out. When using clipping, you can decide to remove the
- clipped part of the bump (making an open bump by clipmapping;
- also removing highlights and reflections).
-
- Requester:
-
- Size: Size of the checks containing x and
- y oriented bumps.
- Number of Bumps: Number of bumps per check.
- Bump width (0..1): Width of bump relative to it's
- space in the check.
- Bump length (0..1): Length of the bump.
- Bump height (0..1): Height of the bumps.
- Note that negative numbers will not
- work.
- Top clip (0..1): Clips of the top of the bump (1 is
- no clipping).
- Stagger (0..1): Shift every other layer of checks.
- Remove clipped (0,1): Clipmapping is used to clip away
- the clipped parts of the bumps,
- creating open bumps.
- Color R/G/B: Color of the bumps.
-
- sample object: Primitive plane with perpendicular z-axis.
