  1.                         Amazing Tunes CDTV

  4. Amazing Tunes CDTV is a music demo written by Jolyon Ralph of Almathera.
  5.  
  6. It allows you to listen to the Protracker music modules on this CD
  7. accompanied by synchronised graphics. It's far more fun than using
  8. Protracker.
  9.  
  10. Amazing Tunes CDTV is PAL only and will NOT work properly on NTSC
  11. (Northern America and Japan). Sorry guys, but there aren't enough
  12. display lines on your screen.

  14. How to use Amazing Tunes CDTV:

  16. Click on the Icon in this drawer and Amazing Tunes CDTV will load
  17.  
  18. (Please note: on some machines there may not be enough memory
  19. to load large modules - Reset your Amiga/CDTV and select option
  20. 'B' from the menu - it should then work)

  23. Amazing Tunes CDTV is controlled from a panel of gadgets

  35. LOAD will load a module. In loop mode this will allow you select
  36. from a scrolling list (use the up and down arrows to scroll through the
  37. list and click in the center to load a module)
  38.  
  39. LOOP mode is set by default. The module will repeat playing after
  40. it has finished. Select a new module with LOAD
  41.  
  42. RANDOM mode will play a random module when the module has finished, or
  43. if LOAD is clicked
  44.  
  45. AUTOLOAD will load the next module in the list when the module has
  46. finished, or if LOAD is clicked.

  48. You can change the volume with the slider in the middle. The top
  49. is 100% volume, 0% volume is at the bottom:

  51. On early CDTV models 100% volume may be distorted. Set volume to between
  52. 70% and 80% and turn up your amplifier to compensate. This is due to a
  53. hardware fault in early CDTV units.

  56. TEXT will turn on a scrolling message containing various messages about
  57. this disk.
  58.  
  59. FILTER will turn on or off the Low-Pass Filter. This cuts off the noise
  60. (and some of the high end of the sound). You may prefer it, you may
  61. not. Try it and see.

  63. STROBE will strobe the dancer. Watch out! This gives me headaches!
  64.  
  65. The [>] gadget will restart the current song.
  66.  
  67. The [>>] gadget will fast forward through the current song.
  68.  
  69. Click on the gadget at the top left hand side to quit.
