  1. ANNOUNCING - Windows NT program archive available on UUNET.
  2.  
  3. Programs for Windows NT, the first portable 32 bit Windows Operating system,
  4. are now available on ftp.uu.net in the vendor/microsoft/win-nt-progs 
  5. directory.  
  6.  
  7. The binaries in the archive are for the July prerelease of Windows NT, 
  8. released to developers at the Professional Developers' Conference in 
  9. San Francisco July 6-8, 1992. 
  10.  
  11. The sources in the archives can be compiled on Windows NT for x86, r4000,
  12. and Alpha platforms.
  13.  
  14. Included currently are sources and binaries for archiving tools, programming
  15. tools, GNU utilities, editors, and compatibility libraries. As more tools and
  16. programs are available, they will be added to the archive.
