  19.                         METZ Task Manager
  20.  
  21.     In case you didn't already know, TaskMan can be accessed at
  22. any time by simply pressing Ctrl Escape.  You can also choose
  23. the Switch To... menu item from any applications system menu, or
  24. double click the mouse on the Windows background to access TaskMan
  25. as well.
  26.     You may find it easier to use the help system with TaskMan by
  27. choosing the Stay visible checkbox from File - Preferences -
  28. Task Manager dialog.

  31.                            METZKW.SYS
  32.  
  33. 1.  Using the METZ Task Manager's Screen Saver with Non-Windows
  34. Applications.
  35.  
  36.     If you use the METZ Task Manager's Screen Saver feature and
  37. run DOS applications under Microsoft Windows, and are having
  38. problems with the Screen Saver activating while you are working
  39. in the DOS window, make sure that METZKW.SYS is installed in your
  40. CONFIG.SYS file.  This driver (METZKW.SYS) detects activity in
  41. your DOS application, and supports DOS Hotkeys you have defined
  42. in your METZ applications.  Your CONFIG.SYS file should contain
  43. a line reading:
  44.  
  45.    device=c:\windows\system\metzkw.sys (or the appropriate path)
  46.  
  47.    You can verify proper installation by checking the System
  48. Status dialog in METZ Task Manager.  A line stating "METZKW is present"
  49. will appear in the list of General information if METZKW.SYS is
  50. correctly installed.  Don't forget to reboot if you have just
  51. made the changes to your CONFIG.SYS file.

  55.     METZKW.SYS uses only 1232 bytes of memory.

  57.     METZKW.SYS can be loaded high.

  59.     METZKW.SYS has the following optional parameters:

  61.     /NOCAD - disables CTRL-ALT-DEL at the DOS level.

  63.     /NOMAT - disables mouse tracking, should there be a conflict
