  1.                          HorseCalc  Version 1.1
  2. HorseCalc is a one-screen thoroughbred handicapping calculator that runs 
  3. under Windows 3.0 or higher.  It is designed to be simple enough for the
  4. novice handicapper; yet our experience has shown that it is more effective
  5. than many complex systems.  HorseCalc calculates an "Overall Ability Rating"
  6. based on only 7 data items obtained from the Daily Racing Form.  The "Help"
  7. screens will explain the features.
  8. This disk contains 3 files:
  9.         VBRUN100.DLL
  10.         HCALC.EXE
  11.         READ.ME
  12. You can run the program directly from this disk by entering:
  13.         WIN B:(or A:) HCALC     at the DOS C:\> prompt. 
  14. To install:  Copy VBRUN100.DLL and HCALC.EXE to your WINDOWS directory
  15. (or a directory of your choice).  Then you can use the WINDOWS Setup
  16. program (under WINDOW's Program Manager) to install HorseCalc as a 
  17. Windows Application which can be run by clicking on its icon.
