  1. KnowledgePro Utility version 1.0

  4. Introduction:
  5.     This is a very simple though very useful utility for programming in
  6. KnowledgePro for Windows. The reason I wrote this utility was that I never
  7. exactly knew whether I did already compile my knowledge bases or not (your
  8. program runs much faster when you compile your knowledge bases).

  10. How this utility works:
  11.     When you start the program it lists all the .kb-files in the current
  12. directory in the listbox on the left. When you double-click on one of those
  13. files (it doesn't matter which one), it is going to check for each knowledge
  14. base whether there is a matching .ckb-file. If there isn't or if the .ckb-file
  15. is older than the .kb-file, the .kb-file is added to the listbox on the right.
  16. This listbox lists all the .kb-files that need to be compiled.

  18. System requirements:
  19.     Everything you need to run MS-Windows
  20.         - MS-Windows 3.0
  21.         - 286 with 1MB
  22.     The Visual Basic DLL (vbrun100.dll)
  23.     A tiny free gap on your Hard Disk

  25. Installation:
  26.     1) Copy the kputil.dll to your \windows\system directory
  27.     2) Run kputil.exe
