Courses for Companies
=====================
In addition to the one-day seminar on Windows NT described above, Rolling Thunder Computing also offers 3-day hands-on lab courses in basic and advanced Windows Programming. These courses contain the same material that David Platt currently teaches at Harvard University Extension School.
Any of our courses may be taught in-house at your company. This saves you the high cost of travel and lodging for your project team. It lets you have final say over the curriculum, to concentrate on the areas that matter most to you. And it lets you discuss and ask questions about proprietary information that you would not disclose in an open classroom setting. We can even provide the hardware to use for labs.
Companies within reasonable travel distance of Rolling Thunder's Boston-area office can arrange for their courses to be taught on one or two days per week over a number of weeks. Our experience has shown that having time over which to digest the course information greatly improves retention. You can sleep on the new concepts you've learned, identify the areas that haven't quite gelled for you yet, and generate questions to ask at the next class. It also means that you don't have to clear your entire team's schedule for a whole week.
