  1. Welcome to QDTOOLS v1.0

  3. Running:

  5. To run qdmenu you type
  6.  
  7. QDMENU file.exe 
  8.  
  9. The file.exe is the windows executable which contains the menu you want
  10. the .qdh file generated for.  QDMENU will read the windows exe file and
  11. parse out the menu resource and generate a qdhelp input file which is
  12. basically ready for you to fill in the blanks for what each menu choice
  13. does and you have instant help!

  21. Basic Steps:

  23.     Run QDMENU on the executable.
  24.     
  25.     run QDHELP on the generated .qdh file

  27.     Make yourself a .hpj file for the new .rtf file 
  28.  
  29.     run HC on the rtf file 
  30.  
  31.     Go into windows and check it out
  32.  
  33.     Thats it.

  39.     qdmenu c:\windows\pbrush.exe

  41.     qdhelp pbrush.qdh

  43.     <make the .hpj file pbrush.hpj>

  47.     now check out the results in windows.
