  1. If you wish to install FWKCS(TM) for the first time, first read
  2. "Initial Installation of FWKCS" in REGISTER.DOC.

  4. To install the complete FWKCS(TM) system from CDROM:
  5.  
  6. If you received FWKCS118.ZIP on a CDROM or other read_only disk, make a
  7. temporary directory on your hard drive, copy START.BAT and FWKCS118.ZIP
  8. to that temporary directory, make that temporary directory your current
  9. directory, type START , and press the enter key (also called the
  10. "carriage return").  Then follow the instructions on the screen.

  12. Sysops: Although FWKCS 1.18 has been tested successfully with FWKCTEST 
  13. on a bare system using a CONFIG.SYS set to FILES=10, when operating on 
  14. large, complex networks where FWKCS is called by other programs, it is 
  15. preferable to use a setting of FILES=30 or higher.
