A Resource About Lyme Disease
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With fair weather now occurring in our northern states, the outdoor
season is upon all of us. That means outdoor activities, picnics in the
"wild", hiking, camping and the like. With more exposure to the elements and
insects, the need to inform you all about Lyme Disease and its prevention is a
must. You can get all this most important information in a book called "About
Lyme Disease" which is obtainable from the Will Rogers Institute, 785
Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605. The booklet is in easy to
understand format, and is yours upon request, without charge or need for
envelopes.
Though Lyme is most often a mild disease that responds to prompt
treatment, it can be a most severe and debilitating disease in some cases.
The best tactic is to prevent it, and simple rules, liking keeping covered,
and searching your body for the deer ticks--which carry the
disease--immediately after a walk through the woods, can be most effective.
If your summer plans include visiting parks and woods, or if you are just
interested in this subject, you have but to write for this most valuable
booklet.
