  18.      There probably is no more frustrating situation for the parent, or a more
  19. difficult question to answer (for a medical columnist) than the proper actions
  20. to take when a youngster is going through a temper tantrum. Screaming and
  21. rolling around, breath holding, even breaking objects, the youngster is doing
  22. everything possible to take control.  Parents pray for strength, and often end
  23. up by giving in, promising anything to get past the problem.  Fortunately a
