  17. QUESTION:  I'm just curious.  How many men in our population are homosexuals
  18. or bisexuals?

  22. ANSWER:  While there is no way to know exact percentages, random polls have
  23. found that 2% of adult men claim to be homosexual, with another 2% considering
  24. themselves bisexual.  The actual percentage of men who have ever had homo- or
  25. bisexual relationships is higher for several reasons:

  27.      1 - Many boys and teenagers experiment sexually with their own sex.
  28.      2 - About 5% of men who claim they are heterosexuals say they also have
  29.      interest in homosexual activity and, in fact, many in this group do
  30.      report some physical relations with men.
  31.      3 - In adult men, half of those who consider themselves homosexual also
  32.      claim to have sexual relations with women.  One survey found that 86%
  33.      of men claim they have never had a homosexual experience.  Of that group,
  34.      92% say they haven't had a homosexual relationship past the age of
  35.      twelve.

  38. report themselves as asexual.
