  15. Well Once again I thank you for letting

  19. AUDIO BOOST ON THE AMIGA 500
  20. ----------------------------
  21. This hardware hack is not advanced  and
  22. gives you a much higher volume  out  of
  23. your Amiga (With good  quality!)  First
  24. remove the  screws  (This will  destroy
  25. your warrenty!) from  the  Amiga  shell
  26. (even the screws for  the  drive!)  now
  27. carefully open  your  Amiga, There  are
  28. some  pigs  holding  the shell  at it's
  29. place so don't break those! (as i have)
  30. Now remove the screws from the metallic
  31. shield and gently remove  the  keyboard
  32. cable!  (Remember  the  direction   the
  33. connector are!) now remove  the  drive!
  34. (Yet another time remember  how  it was
  35. connected!) now find the filter (LF347)
  36. near  this   circuit   you   find   the
  37. condensators at 22uF (you will actually
  38. find two!) the  condensators  are named
  39. C334 and C324 and  two  resitors  named
  40. R334 and R324 now take  a  dual  switch
  41. and connect it like this:

  49. And now you can boost more sound of  ya
  50. Amiga,  but be carefull you can destroy
  51. your speekers if ya pump  up the volume
  52. too  much!  (The   level  meter  on  my
  53. gettoblaster goes to  max  if i turn on
  54. my boost) I must say that if your Amiga
  55. brakes  down  cause   of  this   little
  56. hardware hack then don't blame me!  And
  57. if you  are not good at  soldering then
  58. let  someone  else  do it! (even if the
  59. soldering on this hack is really easy!)
  60. and  DON'T  USE  A  HIGH WATTAGE SOLDER
  61. IRON! (MAX 25 WATT)
