Notify Dialog Box
The notify dialog box can help you to see if a friend of yours is online . Just enter the nicks of the users that you would like to be notified when they are online and when they leave IRC . TurboIRC will inform you for any of those nicks
Note that if a user is invisible , you will not be able to check if he is online or not . See Nick Modes
After a successful notification , TurboIRC fires the ON NOTIFY and ON UNNOTIFY Special Events . See Special Events
You can direct add/remove a nick from your notify list with /notify .
/notify +George , adds George to your notify list
/notice -Michael , removes Michael from your notify list
