You
have reached the official U.S. World Wide Web Site for Pegasus Mail. Here
you will find general information about Pegasus Mail and help on setting
it up.
Pegasus Mail is an electronic mail system for use with Novell NetWare (versions 2.15A and later), and on standalone systems using the WINSOCK TCP/IP interface. It is a full-fledged mailer, one of its more unusual characteristics being that it is freeware - not shareware, but "free". You can use it without charge, restriction or obligation on as many servers and machines as you wish. Pegasus Mail has been tested under NetWare 2.12, NetWare 2.15A-C, all versions of 3.x and 4.x. It will run in Bindery Emulation mode on NetWare 4.x and in NDS mode under NetWare 4.1 with the optional NDS DLLs for Pegasus Mail installed (WPMNDS10.ZIP). It will run under Windows 3.x, 95, and NT, as well as OS/2, with any version of IPX, NETx, VLM, or 32-bit NetWare client, on any network topology. Internet Service Providers and Network Administrators can also use the ISP configuration kit to ease installation for users of Pegasus Mail on their network. One of the most remarkable things about Pegasus Mail is the fact that it is absolutely FREE. But if you are using Pegasus Mail, as an organization or as an individual, and if you are satisfied with its performance and features, it would be a very clever decision to order one of the (sets of) manuals. That would benefit you and/or your organization in two ways: you receive those excellent printed manuals *and* you also invest in the current and future support of the programs and their development. |
