Anti-Christ
		According to the Biblical 'Book of Revelations,' Anti-Christ is the guy who is supposed to emerge towards the end of time to become a world dictator and destroy Christianity, so why do so many Christians look forward to this dude's arrival? I could never figure out the popularity of Hal Lindsay's 'Late Great Planet Earth' stuff... I mean given the choice between things continuing the way they are (Going to Hell in a Handbasket, I admit it!) or the one world government of the Anti-Christ and his minions, the Mark of the Beast, Scarlet Woman and all of that... Well, I know what side of the fence I'M on... (I don't buy into ANY of it.). It's the 'looking forward' to it aspect that really worries me... the potential of Christian 'millennial madness' to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Yeah, I know the concept is that Jesus is coming back, but at what cost ? I'm personally NOT looking forward to the Battle of Armageddon, no matter WHO wins... Perhaps after the turn of the century, when we wake up and we're all still here, still paying our mortgages and taxes, breathing dirty air and drinking dirty water, this Apocalyptic fever will subside in favor of getting on with the business of cleaning up the mess we've made of this planet...
