                              Introduction
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

          This section   describes the  functions in  the various
          generation-time  libraries.  The libraries  contain the
          Template Language routines that provide  the basic code
          generating  functionality. This  consists of  a  set of
          routines which produce  building-blocks of  application
          code  that  the  template   assembles  into  a  running
          application.

          The library functions  do all the nitty-gritty  work of
          generating  the  code, allowing  the  template  and the
          template programmer  to concentrate on the structure of
          the  application  being  generated.  Additionally,  the
          generation-time   libraries   provide    a   consistent
          interface,  hiding  language  dependent   details  from
          template applications.
