Can you write a haiku about the South?
A haiku is a 3 line Japanese poem that captures a mood or moment, among other things. There are 17 syllables in all -- the first line has 5, the second 7 and the third 5.
Example:
I sit in the sun
the crane dips in the water
and catches a fish.
OK... so it might not be the greatest haiku on the planet but you get the picture...
Try it out!
