Undoing our mistakes
This spring, biologists have seen at least eight wolf pups in or near Yellowstone National Park. To prevent extinctions and make the planet more beautiful, scientists and land managers are trying to restore endangered species to their former homes. But most restorations are expensive, and there are never any guarantees. Let's look at some reintroduction efforts.
