4.13 Sending Your Fax
Whether you created your fax externally or internally, at some time in the future you will want to transmit/send your fax (unless you decide to delete it).

When you create a fax externally the send window will appear automatically once you have chosen a name for your fax. When you create a fax internally, you will have to manually select the "transmit" button to send your fax.

Either way, you'll see this window.

Enter the fax number you want to send the fax within the "Send to:" box or select one or more numbers from the drop down menu. Note that if you select mutliple fax numbers from the drop down menu, the fax will be sent to these numbers syncronously.

Choose to "Send Now" (the fax will be sent immediately, so make sure your modem is connected to your phone line!), "Schedule" (you can choose to send the fax at a later date - but STFax and your modem would need to be on at this scheduled time in order for the fax to be sent automatically) or you can choose to cancel the transmission of this fax.

If you do choose to schedule the fax, a window will appear where you can set varies times/dates.

The fax will now be stored on your hard drive within the "Stored" list and, if scheduled, within the "Scheduled" list as well.

If everything goes well, you should see a transmission window. STFax will dial the fax machine, connect and then well send your fax page by page.
