Commands pull-down menu
The Commands menu provides access to a number of commands in
the Norton Commander. All the commands in this menu are
described in separate help screens.
There are five groups of commands in this pull-down menu:
Commands The first group contains five DOS
enhancement commands for quickly changing
directories, finding files, recalling recent
DOS commands, changing the number of
lines on the screen and getting system
information.
Panels These four commands act on the Left and
Right panels to swap the left and right
panels, turn panels on and off, compare two
directories and synchronize two directories.
Terminal This command invokes the terminal
emulation program.
Menu/Ext These three commands are used to edit the
menu file, the extension file, and the editor
extension file. These files are used for the
User-defined menus, and the point-and-shoot
function.
Configure The configure command displays the
configuration dialog box, from where you can
configure the Norton Commander.
This page created by ng2html v1.05, the Norton guide to HTML conversion utility.
