Event Introduction

An Event is a violation of a security setting.

Prevx Home continually monitors system behavior, and if it detects something suspicious, you see an Event message. For details on how to respond to pop-ups, see 'Responding to Event Messages'.

A record of the event is added to the list of Events, and details can be viewed in the Event History screen. Attacks frequently involve a number of attempts at the same violation, and Prevx Home creates an Event for each one.

An event is almost always evidence that Prevx Home has detected bad behavior on your computer.
