Create links by using the point-to-file icon to point to another open document, a file in the Site window, or a visible anchor in an open document. The point-to-file icon can be found in the Property inspector and in the Site Map view when a file is selected. It also appears when you Shift-drag a selection.
To link to a document using the point-to-file icon in the Property inspector:
1 | Select text or an image in the Document window. |
2 | Drag the point-to-file icon from the Property inspector and point to another open document, a visible anchor in an open document, or a file in the Site window. |
The Link field updates to show the link. | |
3 | Release the mouse to make the link. |

To create a link from a selection in an open document:
1 | Select text or an image in the Document window. |
