Just as projects can be installed or updated using an ActiveSync connection, they can also be installed or updated via the wireless network.
Note however that while the ActiveSync based install will install or upgrade the Pocket PC Creations software package if necessary, this cannot occur during a wireless update, as Pocket PC Creations must already be installed on the Pocket PC for it to function.
To send a project update to one or more Pocket PCs, open the Activity Monitor Window and select the desired Pocket PCs from the list of connected units on the left. Right-click, and select Update Project. If there is more than one project open in Pocket PC Creations, there may then be a choice of projects to update.
The project will be transmitted to each of the selected Pocket PCs immediately, and the progress of the operation will appear in the log area on the right of the activity monitor window. Any errors that occur during this process will also be listed.
Projects that are added or updated on the Pocket PC using this method will display an alternate icon in the project list screen of Pocket PC Creations, with a red tone and an alert bell indicator. These markings will disappear once the project has been opened.
