If you're using Windows, you can install the GIMP from our cover CD here. You'll need to download and install both GTK+ 2 for Windows and The Gimp for Windows. If you're using another operating system, visit http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ to find versions for Linux, Unix and the Mac.

Install the programs by installing GTK+ 2 first and then The Gimp. If you're unsure about any settings, just select the defaults and then wait as the program indexes your fonts and launches.
