Before you follow this tutorial, you should first follow Tutorial 1 ( Create your first artwork ).
The artwork in this tutorial was drawn with a mouse but a WACOM pen & tablet is recommended. They are fairly inexpensive and work very well. All of the drawings in the Drawing Hand Art Gallery were created with a WACOM pen & tablet.
This tutorial will show you how to draw an autumn maple leaf. What you'll draw is not as important as what you'll learn. After completing the tutorial you will know how to:
use a "trace image" to help you create a drawing.
create a custom color palette.
use the different brush modes ( density, size, transparency ).
blend/rub colors together.
erase
